I am hoping many of you have had the privilege of seeing firsthand what Do The Right Thing does in an effort to keep our kids on the right path and out of trouble! If you have ever attended one of our DTRT awards ceremonies, you have witnessed that getting recognized at Miami Police headquarters for “doing the right thing” really matters to our kids! Even if it’s just one day in their lives, they feel special.
Sadly, after 25 years in operation, DTRT continues to face some funding issues. We know our Miami-Dade schools, administrators, teachers, parents, and students alike love our program and want it to continue!
