Ja’Kye Moore

Ja’Kye saved the life of a 4-year-old boy who accidentally jumped into a pool and was drowning. Ja’Kye was swimming with his brother when the 4-year-old boy threw a ball in the deep part of the pool, jumping in after the ball and subsequently starting to drown. Nobody saw him except Ja’kye. He quickly swam to the boy and pulled him out to safety. Thanks to his quick thinking, a tragedy was averted. Ja’Kye’s behavior has improved greatly and although he has experienced tough circumstances growing up, he is learning and accepting responsibility. Ja’Kye knows the value of doing the right thing at all times and is working towards improving himself on the daily.
