Rapids Waterpark Trip Winner
Recently during lunch, a student suddenly started to hold his throat
and could not talk. Liam was sitting across from him at the table and
noticed the boy was choking and had been holding his throat for some
time and was turning red. Liam jumped up, ran around to the other
side and put his arms around him to do the Heimlich maneuver. At
this point, other kids at the table started laughing at Liam but he was
undeterred. After pumping his stomach four times, the boy was able
to breathe again. He was grateful Liam didn’t stop even when others
laughed. Thanks to his quick action, a tragedy was averted and Liam
proved to be a hero.
