Alonso Mercedes and Nevaeh Otero

Alonso and Nevaeh found a pouch on the PE field. When they opened
the pouch they realized it contained a gun. While other students might
have thought twice about reporting what they had just found, they did
not hesitate and immediately turned in the pouch to the PE coach.
Outside of school, Alonso enjoys playing sports and drawing and
dreams of one day becoming a police officer. Neveah likes to paint
and sing and hopes to one day become an artist. Alonso and Neveah
knew to do the right thing and because of their action, a gun was
taken off the streets.
