Gisselle Colon

Gisselle was concerned about a friend’s mental health and well-being. Even though she was worried about the consequences of coming forward and possibly losing a friendship, she reported to the counselor that her friend was cutting herself. Her friend had shared with 3 other students how she felt and what she had done, but no one did anything except for Gisselle. Thanks to Gisselle her friend will receive the assistance she needs. At school, Gisselle has demonstrated great improvement this year and is focusing on helping others and bettering herself every day.
