Ma’Kayla Constantin

Ma’Kayla informed her teacher that during lunch, a friend of hers expressed that he wanted to harm himself and that he did not want to live anymore. Immediate interventions were put in place for the student and thanks to Ma’Kayla, the student in crisis was able to receive much needed assistance. Despite the possible consequences of coming forward with such sensitive information, Ma’Kayla was brave and helped save a life.
