Gavin Jones

Though Gavin has dealt with bullying and personal struggles, this has not stopped him from trying to achieve for better. In class, you can always count on him to assist his classmates and teacher with computer skills. He is a kind and caring student who has intervened in bullying situations, consoled a student in distress, assisted cafeteria personnel, and displayed honesty upon turning in cash he found. After school, Gavin is a member of his school’s STEAM Robot Club and competed at the Youth Fair. At home, Gavin assists his mom with their food truck and helped reunite a young girl who was lost with her mom at one of her events. Gavin thinks about his choices and encourages others to follow his lead and choose to do the right things.
