Akila Solomon

Sanaii and Akila took action to deescalate a critical situation that took place on the school bus. They immediately took an active role and intervened to stop a fight on the bus, helping defuse the situation and avoid further escalation. They quickly took action to make sure the confronting parties would not continue the negative and disruptive behavior. At school, Sanaii consistently earns strong academic grades and is an active participant in both flag football and the school band. Akila is an active member of the school’s dance and cheerleading teams, where her energy, helpfulness, and strong sense of responsibility consistently shine. Sanaii and Akila demonstrated a high level of maturity, responsibility, and leadership that helped maintain a safe environment for all.
