Recently, when a classmate fainted after donating blood, Andrei and Maria took action and immediately came to their classmate’s aid. They lowered her to the floor, elevated her legs, and kept her calm and stable until paramedics arrived. Their quick thinking and calm response reflect maturity, responsibility, and compassion. At school, Andrei is a driven student dedicated to his academic performance while training to be an EMT. Maria is an exemplary student who works hard and consistently demonstrates care for others. Andrei and Maria know what it means to do the right thing both in and out of the classroom.
