Fabian Sena-Acosta

Fabian and Anthony proved to be true heroes, demonstrating bravery, quick thinking, and selfless action during an incident after school. While walking together near a canal, one of their friends fell into the water and began drowning. Without hesitation, Fabian and Anthony jumped into the canal and were able to pull their friend out of the murky waters. Once the student was brought to safety, Fabian immediately began performing CPR, demonstrating remarkable calm and leadership in a life threatening situation, while Anthony called 911 to get emergency help. They both stayed with their friend until first responders arrived and the student was transported to the hospital. Their courage, teamwork, and compassion truly reflect outstanding character. These students did not think twice about helping someone in need, and their actions ultimately saved a life.
