Thursday, October 19, 2023 was a very exciting day for our program!
Together with the City of Miami Police, we unveiled the very first Do The Right Thing vehicle in partnership with world-renowned artist Romero Britto who created a truly beautiful work of art that perfectly captures what Do The Right Thing is all about, building relationships between youth and police.
Big thanks to MetroWrapz and VP Law for sponsoring the vehicle and to all those that joined us this morning for the big reveal! This vehicle will serve as a unique community policing tool to engage and connect with students doing the right thing across the City of Miami.
We were honored to have Miami-Dade County State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle and Miami-Dade School Board Chair Mari Tere Rojas attend and speak in support of our youth and law enforcement. Our DTRT September 2023 Top 10 Winners were not only celebrated, but became a special part of DTRT history!
