Alessia saw a 4th grade student being bullied and told racist remarks. She proceeded to get a recording of the incident and brought it to the counselor. Later she brought down both the student and a bystander and let them know what they did was wrong. She really stood up for the victim and ultimately did the right thing. She is an amazing person, a great student and an even better citizen. By standing up to bullies, Alessia was brave and serves as an example to her peers.
