On Tuesday March 19, 2025, at approximately 8:00 pm, there was a serious accident involving a motorcycle and a car where 2 victims were involved. One of the victims had a large laceration on the left thigh that was profusely bleeding. Angelina quickly acted and applied a tourniquet using the victim’s t-shirt to stop blood flow and waited for EMS to arrive. The first arriving police officer applied a second tourniquet until fire rescue arrived. Angelina stayed on scene until the victim was transported to the hospital. She had fortunately just learned what to do during these types of emergencies during a recent class presentation. Thanks to her quick actions, the injured person was able to be safely transported to the hospital to treat their injuries. Angelina is a true hero and knew exactly how to “do the right thing” during a serious emergency.
