Annabella Carballeira

Annabella is part of the Peer Counselors where she currently leads as President. She is also a part of the Castaway Club, Student Council, National Honor Society & is also a dancer in the Varsity Dance Team. Despite the difficulties of the pandemic, Bella has excelled academically and has made Principals honor roll every single quarter during her entire middle school career and will be entering high school with 6 high school credit courses completed. In addition to her participation in school clubs, Bella has also participated in countless community service projects within her school and in the community and has done numerous classroom presentations in the areas of mental health, acceptance & tolerance, drugs, alcohol, bullying and cyber safety. She has participated in numerous awareness walks and activities as well as food drives, collecting toiletries for the homeless, and assisting new students at school. Bella has also made it a point to sit with 6th graders who are having lunch by themselves and include them in her friend group so that they do not feel isolated and alone. She leads by example and is always supportive of her peers when they are going through difficult circumstances. Recently she volunteered to help with a project that raises awareness on depression and will take part in a training on Mindfulness which she will use to assist her peers. Bella is a wonderful student who goes above and beyond to help others and make a difference.
