Rapids Waterpark Trip Winner
On Monday October 10th, a 10-year-old student in Freddy and
Anthony’s class brought a loaded gun to school. The student told
them that he had a gun. Both students were brave enough to
immediately tell the teacher what they saw and heard. The school was
placed on lockdown and School Police was immediately contacted and
the student was taken into custody and will be charged as well as the
student’s parent. Freddy and Anthony honored the “See Something,
Say Something” campaign and their bravery and quick response
helped avoid what could have ended in a terrible tragedy.
