When Brandon and Joseph saw that a friend posted a suicide note on Instagram, they recognized the severity of the situation and knew they had to take action. They both immediately reported the incident which led to the student being assessed and the proper interventions put in place to assist the student in crisis. This was not easy for both students to do as it could’ve lead to potential consequences with their friend. Despite this, Brandon and Joseph prioritized their friend’s safety and ultimately saved a life.
