Recently, Camila witnessed a student go to the bathroom carrying a sharp object with the intent to harm themselves. Camila recognized the severity of the issue and intervened to stop the student from self-harm. She then immediately reported the incident to administration and the student was directed to the proper resources to receive the help they needed. Thanks to Camila’s quick actions and compassion for a peer in crisis, a life was saved.
