One of the girls who rides the bus with Carolina found 2 pills on the bus and gave them to a friend to take to see what would happen, despite not knowing what kind of pills they were. Upon arriving at school, Carolina went to the counselor and reported the incident. She had learned from the DARE Program that if you find a pill you should go to an adult and report it. Fortunately, the pill the girl drank ended up being Ibuprofen and she was not harmed. The parents of all the students involved were called and the students were spoken to as well as the bus driver who was notified of the incident. Thanks to Carolina doing the right thing, administration was able to
find out what had happened and made sure the student was safe.
