Damian Villabrille

Damian exemplifies outstanding character and compassion. He consistently demonstrates a kind-heart and thoughtful personality, but one moment in particular truly exemplifies who he is. During one of the most important events for seniors, Grad Bash, students were asked to sit in the auditorium with a partner to indicate who they would be sitting with on the bus. One student, who has special needs, was left sitting alone without a partner. Without hesitation, Damian took it upon himself to sit with this student. But Damian’s kindness did not stop there. Throughout the entire trip, he made sure to stay with this student, walking with him through both parks alongside his group. While most students would be focused on their friends, Damian was intentional about ensuring that the student felt included, had fun, and, most importantly, was safe and never alone. His actions were not prompted or required, they came from a place of genuine empathy and integrity. Damian’s willingness to step in, include others, and look out for someone in need reflects the true spirit of doing the right thing.
