Dania Dominguez

Dania is an exemplary student, friend, and a wonderful young woman who does the right thing in every sense. Aside from her stellar academic performance, she is an office aide where she helps translate for Spanish speaking students and is always happy to help anyone she can. Recently, Dania expressed concern about a friend who was struggling with their mental health. She immediately sought help from an adult and guided her friend to the counselor so that they could receive the assistance needed. Not only did she do the right thing by looking out for her friend and seeking help from an adult, but she did it with sensitivity and maturity. Dania demonstrated compassion and care and proved to be the definition of a true friend.
