Daniel Iglesias

Danny is part of the Coral Gables Police Explorer program, recently being promoted to the rank of Chief. He has demonstrated to be a driven, selfless, and compassionate young leader. He is deeply involved in his school and community, serving as a member of the National Honor Society, campus ministry leader, BSA Senior Patrol Leader, and president and co-founder of the First Responders Club. Danny leads by example, with humility and heart. What truly sets Danny apart is his passion for honoring those who serve. He is currently working toward his Eagle Scout by leading a powerful project to rebuild the Stafford Monument, a tribute to Officer Charles Stafford of the Miami Springs Police Department who gave his life in the line of duty in 1991. Through his vision and determination, Danny has raised over $14,000 to restore this monument to ensure Officer Stafford’s legacy lives on and that his sacrifice is never forgotten. Danny serves as a great example for his peers to follow, exemplifying integrity, leadership, and service, the definition of doing the right thing.
