Dylan Rubio

Dylan is the founder of a project to help unaccompanied minors who have come to this community from other countries. Recently, he did his first collection drive and collected clothing, food, and toys to donate to the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami to assist needy youth. Dylan also volunteers on a regular basis at the Overtown Youth Center to teach underserved youth about coding and computer skills in a project called “Young Coders Initiative.” He also volunteers at Southside K-8 after school to teach literacy to 2nd and 3rd graders from low-income families. Dylan truly has a heart towards helping others and will continue making an impact on our community and beyond.
