Emmanuel Izquierdo

Recently, one of Emmanuel’s classmates experienced a medical emergency in class. The teacher immediately ran to assist the student to make sure he did not fall and hurt himself. She prompted the class to get help and to call 911. While the majority of the class ran to get help, Emmanuel, although shocked by the scenario playing out in front of him, immediately got on the phone with 911 and reported the incident meanwhile helping stabilize his friend. Medical assistance arrived and his classmate recovered. Emmanuel is a great student who participates in band and aspires to be a chemist or an audio/camera technician as he has an affinity towards vintage cameras. Despite feeling shaken and concerned for his friend on that fateful day, Emmanuel knew that even under pressure, he did the right thing.
