Ezra Perez
Eighth Grade, Glades Middle
During 6th and 7th grade, Ezra found himself in trouble numerous times for misbehavior. Due to his prior misconduct, he has not been able to participate in sports or events at school for two years. However, this year Ezra has made a promise to turn things around. He has been better behaved and even assists administration and teachers around the school to prove himself. Recently, while helping set up for open house, he witnessed a fight break out between two parents. Without hesitation, he immediately went to assist administration with stopping the fight and deescalating the situation. Ezra is now giving his best effort and working hard in class and plans to join the basketball team this year. He has proven he has changed his attitude and mindset and plans to continue on a positive path, demonstrating it’s never too late to do the right thing.
