Recently, a friend entrusted Hailey and Olivia with a suicide note on the bus after school. The following morning, without hesitation, Hailey and Olivia immediately reported the situation, providing all necessary details to ensure that their friend received immediate support and intervention. They exemplified courage and compassion, understanding the importance of breaking the “friend code” to save a life. Thanks to their quick action, appropriate interventions were swiftly put in place to safeguard their friend. Both girls demonstrate academic excellence and are actively involved in several school and and extracurricular activities. Hailey and Olivia are shining examples of what it means to “Do The Right Thing,” displaying courage, empathy, and a sense of responsibility in a life-saving situation.
