Tenth Grade, Alonzo and Tracy Mourning Senior High
Javier witnessed a student who passed out by the stairwell and was in need of medical assistance. While several students walked by, Javier was the only student that reported this concern to school security. Thanks to Javier, the school resource officer and nurse immediately called EMT and the student received the medical attention needed. Javier truly did the right thing by demonstrating responsibility, maturity, and good decision making in the midst of an emergency.
