Jessica was on the phone with her friend while the friend was arguing with her mother. Her friend then told her she drank sunscreen and then the phone abruptly hung up. Jessica reached out to the assistant principal at the school as she was concerned about her friend harming herself. The assistant principal notified the parents and Jessica assisted with bringing her friend to the counselor. Thanks to Jessica, her friend was able to receive the care and help she needed. Jessica intervened for a fellow peer in crisis and demonstrated what it means to be a true friend.
