Recently, while riding the bus to school, Mauro and Jesus saw a student
with displaying a knife on the bus. Another student had told them not to
tell anyone unless they were asked but both students decided they
needed come forward about what they saw. As soon as they got to
school, Mauro and Jesus approached the security guard and told them
about the student on the bus with the knife. They knew the right thing
to do was to report this incident to the administration as they stated
they did not want anyone to get hurt. The student was subsequently
searched and the knife was found. In the face of peer pressure, Mauro
and Jesus did the right thing and helped keep their school and
classmates safe.
