Katherine consistently demonstrates outstanding character and dedication to her school community. She is actively involved in various school activities, including serving as a member of the dance team and participating as a junior police explorer, all while maintaining strong academic performance. She also serves as an office aide, where she willingly assists her peers and teachers whenever needed. Recently, Katherine demonstrated extraordinary courage and commitment to ensuring the safety of her fellow peers. In a difficult situation, Katherine noticed that one of her peers was about to leave campus with an unidentified adult male. Despite the personal challenges and emotions involved, Katherine chose to do the right thing and reported the situation to the school counselor. As a result of her actions, the counselor and school safety officer were able to intervene, preventing what could have been a dangerous situation. Katherine’s willingness to put her peers’ safety above her own—potentially risking a friendship—demonstrates her incredible bravery, integrity, and selflessness.
