Kristopher Morales

Kristopher recently became an Eagle Scout for a project he has been working on to honor policemen that serve and protect our community. His father is a Miami-Dade County police officer which made Kristopher realize he wanted to do something special to recognize police who work tirelessly and put their lives on the line to protect our community. With permission, Kristopher created a serenity garden at the Midwest District police headquarters. He recognized the stress that many officers endure and wanted to provide a peaceful place where officers could go to unwind. The serenity garden was completed in February 2022 and since then, many officers have used the garden for daily prayer before going on duty. Kristopher is making a positive impact in the lives of our men and women in blue and truly serves as a shining example of doing the right thing in and out of the classroom.
