Marcellus Ruiz

Marcellus heard from a friend that there were social media posts that a student was going to bring a knife to school and cause harm on campus. He informed the counselor and reported the information he had. Because of his tip, a potentially serious incident was avoided and the situation was able to be resolved. Marcellus followed the “see something, say something” campaign and because of his actions, a potential tragedy was averted.
