Marikarla Alvarez Pedroso

Marikarla was walking home when she saw a high school student faint on the sidewalk. She then immediately ran back to the school gate to let the School Resource Officer know that somebody was in trouble. The officer ran over and by the time he reached the older child, the parent had arrived and the child had regained consciousness. Marikarla knew to immediately seek help and made sure the student was ok. Due to her quick thinking and caring for the wellbeing of a fellow student, Marikarla definitely did the right thing.
