Rachel Duarte

Rachel is a very caring and smart student. She goes above and beyond for her classmates, offering to assist them with their classwork. She is also always thinking of how to keep her school safe. Recently, there was an incident at her school where one of Rachel’s kindergarten classmates was found to have a gun in her backpack. Rachel saw the weapon and immediately told her teacher without any hesitation. Administration contacted the police and the father of the child with the backpack was arrested after having placed and forgotten his gun inside his daughter’s backpack. At such a young age, Rachel already knows that doing the right thing means when you see something, you say something.
