Shanise Joo
Fifth Grade, Kinloch Park Elementary
On Dec 8th Shanise assisted the victims of an accident which included
an infant, near her school. Shanise and her mother stayed with the
victims until rescue arrived on scene. They definitely did the right
thing by stopping to help and make sure the victims were safe.
During the beginning of the school year Shanise was very quiet and
shy but as the year has progressed she has opened up and given her
best effort. This year she has shown her leadership skills by
participating as a member of the Florida Future Educators of
America where she helps first grade students with their classroom
assignments and assists the teacher with daily routines. Shanise
knows that doing the right thing means helping others in and out of
the classroom.
