Sophie Deras

Sophie is an outstanding scholar and phenomenal individual, always working to help others. She currently holds a 4.45 GPA, while being enrolled in a variety of Honors, Advanced Placement, and Dual Enrollment courses and is working diligently to acquire her Associate’s Degree while still in high school. In addition to being a true scholar, she engages in a variety of service projects, always giving back to her community. She is a member of the Key Club, where she assists those less fortunate and also mentors and tutors students as part of Achieve Miami. She was the Sophomore Class President, serving with integrity as a model student and leader and currently serves as the National English Honor Society President and is a member of the National Honor Society and has consistently made Honor Roll. Between her excellent academics and having completed over 400 community service hours, Sophie exemplifies leadership, service, character, and what it means to make an impact in today’s world.
