Susana witnessed a student who is often bullied, surrounded by a group of young ladies trying to get physically aggressive. Without hesitation, Susana took it upon herself to intervene and defend the student and told the other girls that physical aggression was not an option. She kept the student safe despite putting herself not only in physical danger, but also risking the possibility of having the bullies turn on her. She then immediately reported the incident to her counselor. Susana displayed maturity and chose to take a stand against bullying to promote a safe school environment for all.
