Tania Sainz

Seventh Grade, Rockway Middle School

Leah and Tania overhead a classmate afterschool talking about how
he wanted to kill the Principal and blow up the school in December
with a c4 bomb. Both students reported what they heard to the
Administration because they were concerned about the student’s
comments and didn’t want anyone to get hurt. Due to their
information, the situation was handled administratively and with the
assistance of School Police. Leah and Tania helped ensure the safety
of their school by immediately taking action and reporting what they
heard, exemplifying what it means to do the right thing in a
potentially dangerous situation.
