Recently, Yazmine went to her school’s administration and let them
know of a student who was in a dangerous situation at home. Despite being conflicted about breaking the student’s trust, she knew she had to come forward with the information she had in order to keep the student safe from harm. Due to Yazmine’s actions, the student was provided assistance and the situation was handled. Despite the consequences, Yazmine knew she had to do the right thing to protect her fellow peer.
