Laila Soares

Laila and Elizabeth know the importance of reporting concerning behavior. Recently, both students reported concerns about a friend who had repeatedly sent suicidal messages in a group chat. Thanks to their courage, that student was able to be assessed appropriately and received much needed support and assistance. Despite the possible consequences of speaking up about a friend, Elizabeth and Laila knew they had to be brave and do the right thing.
